I have been through the gauntlet of life - as a man, as a husband, as a father and provider.

I can reflect back a decade ago to myself at 35.… loving my life, but also overwhelmed by the demands of being the kind of husband, father, friend and human that my heart longed to be.

Feeling totally unprepared for what it would take to love my wife well, to be a great dad, to have deep friendships, to be a whole-hearted man. I was learning it all on the fly.

The hardest part? Not having anyone to turn to for advice, or even just a listening ear. No close friends who wanted to go deep, no elder sages to help guide the way forward.

I felt alone. I bet you do too.
